The First 360Go Men's Missions Team Impacts El Salvador

by National Men's Ministries on December 31, 2023

From November 2-10, 2023, the first 360Go Men’s Missions team (nine men) assisted missionaries Don and Terri Triplett in evangelism ministry in six spiritually needy communities.

The men came from five States to volunteer their time, energy and finances to serve. The results were incredible. The team participated in dramas, songs, dances, door-to-door evangelism, prayer ministry, and even did some “clowning.” Here are some highlights.

• 800+ people reached
• 85 people prayed to accept Christ
• 228 people requesting prayer
• 20+ reported healings (including two on our team)

360Go is the missions outreach of the National Men's Ministries of the Assemblies of God, and has three overarching objectives:

One, connect men to God's mission through short-term missions trips.

Two, assist men in discovering and using their gifts and talents to serve others worldwide and also back home.

Three, show men their responsibility in missions and why Ministry to Men Matters globally.

"As men, God's mission is our mission," says Dan Kersten, 360Go director for Men's Ministries. "Scripture clearly demonstrates that God expects every one of us to help build His kingdom. Missions is an expectation, not an optional activity. We can serve in missions (locally and globally) by offering our hands, hearts, and resources."

360Go Men's Missions teams are different that the traditional missions team originating from the local church in that they are mobilized only when missionaries on the field specifically request a team of men to come and help meet specific needs. 360Go teams fulfill many different kinds of ministry assignments on the field, including building trips and evangelism assignments. All a missionary needs to do is describe the need, and 360Go will recruit the men possessing the required skill sets.

"Some 360Go teams help with evangelism ministry, just like the El Salvador team in November," Kersten says. "Some are asked to raise funds for building projects and then come to do the work. For example, we have such a team from Ohio mobilizing for El Salvador this April 2024, but we need more men to join the team."

The first 360Go Men's Missions team that went to El Salvador is hopefully the first of many. "As I watched God working through our team, He gave me a vision to believe for 1,000 men who will go on 360Go trips in the coming years. If the men of our churches are willing to go, we are willing to partner with them and make it happen."
